Pere is a passionate motorcycle racing professional who has experienced every facet of competition. He has competed in top-level championships such as MotoGP, WorldSBK, and the British Superbike Championship (BSB), racing for renowned manufacturers like Ducati, Honda, Yamaha, Aprilia, and most notably, Kawasaki.

After retiring as a professional rider, he remained closely involved in the racing world as a test rider for Kawasaki, playing a key role in the development of the ZX-6R. This stage of his career gave him valuable insight into Kawasaki’s engineering philosophy and internal working methods, which have greatly influenced his own professional approach. Although not formally trained as an engineer, Pere stands out for his exceptional ability to extract the best performance from both technical staff and riders. His demanding personality creates a high-performance environment where results speak for themselves - a key element in Jonathan’s Rea 6 WorldSBK titles.

A natural competitor, Pere doesn't only strive to win on the racetrack—he’s determined to be first at the airport check-in, first at the car rental counter, and in every small challenge that comes his way. Always full of energy, always one step ahead. Pere was also the one who recommended Provec Racing to Kawasaki as the ideal team to manage their Supersport project, and later the Superbikes program—a key decision that contributed significantly to the brand’s success on the track.

In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, spending quality time with Tian -his son- and actively fixing the streets of his hometown of Matadepera.
