Paolo Marchetti is a seasoned professional in the WorldSBK paddock, bringing over 25 years of experience to the world of motorcycle racing. He graduated in Physics from the University of Tor Vergata, Rome, in 2004, and also pursued Electronic Studies, equipping him with a strong technical foundation.

His journey with Kawasaki began in 2000, and since then, he has taken on various roles, contributing to the development of legendary models such as the ZX-7R, ZX-6R, ZX-10RR, and now the KB998 Rimini. Beyond superbike development, he also oversees the Supersport Category and works closely with WorldSBK manufacturers, Dorna, and FIM within the MSMA, striving to ensure fair deals and balanced competition. When he's not immersed in the high-speed world of Superbikes, Paolo enjoys Enduro riding, astronomy, and photography. But in reality, his true off-track passion lies in perfecting his BBQ grilling technique. Always prepared, he even carries a meat thermometer in his luggage, just in case an unexpected BBQ opportunity arises!
