Manuel Martínez
Workshop Maintenance
Manolin (as he is universally known) was born with the soul of an adventurer… and the body of rubber. At the age of 3, he decided to test gravity from the third floor (spoiler alert: it didn’t go well). He spent a month in IC,and after forty stitches in his head, he came out good as new—just in time to challenge life again by nearly dying of meningitis at age 4. Clearly, a quiet life was never an option. From 16 to 23, he was a metal-bending machine—working as a welder in industrial boilermaking. Then he moved into mechanical locksmithing on construction sites, because no structure is too tough for him.
Later, he joined the glamorous world of MotoGP with Food and Mambo, doing logistics and maintenance between riders and catering trays. These days, he’s a key player at Provec Racing, where he’s been since 2017, handling all the maintenance and logistics support. If everything runs smoothly, it's probably thanks to him. His résumé was already epic, but his email 'Manolokawa79' was what really sealed the deal—we just had to hire someone with an email like that.
He’s a pole vault coach, and he used to jump 4.70 meters himself, earning third place at the Spanish Championships. When he's not fixing things or teaching people how to launch themselves into the air, he rider bikes or spends time with his son Manuel—who also does pole vaulting (yep, the legacy continues). And his wife? Rosa working at a shoe shop. A well-balanced household: one flies, the other walks in style.
