With a background in mechanical engineering, he has dedicated his life to racing and motorcycle development. His journey began in 1980 with Yamaha, where he played a key role in engine and chassis design, including the V4 500cc 4-stroke and the development of 500cc and 250cc 2-stroke engines. In 2001, he took on the role of MotoGP M1 project leader, shaping Yamaha’s premier-class machine until 2004.

In 2005, he brought his expertise to Kawasaki’s MotoGP project, continuing his mission to push the limits of performance and innovation. And, since 2009, he has continued his involvement with Kawasaki in WorldSBK.

For him, racing isn’t just a job—it’s life itself. Fully dedicated to his work, he thrives on the challenge of competition and the pursuit of perfection on the track.
